SLEEK frames made from ACELIKE are manufactured in Germany using the innovative DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D printing process. In this process, liquid resin is hardened layer by layer using UV light to create frames that combine the smooth tactile feel and translucent look of acetate with the modern benefits of 3D printing.

The translucent material opens up new dimensions in 3D printing. The metal insert in the temple subtly shines through the material, highlighting the refined craftsmanship and elevating 3D printing to an entirely new aesthetic level.

To emphasize the unique character of 3D printing and create a subtle distinction from acetate, we integrate a wood-like grain into the surface. This ensures that the innovative technology, which defines our brand, remains visible and unmistakable.

The frames are distinguished by a matte finish, giving them a high-quality, smooth feel. The material is dyed throughout, ensuring it does not oxidize or shrink over time. Additionally, the dyed nature of the material allows for easy retouching of minor signs of wear.

The metal color can be customized upon request. You can choose from four different colors:

SILVER, BLACK, GOLD and ROSE GOLD.

At the end of the temple, there is an elegant detail: the STEEL PILL, an aesthetic stainless steel cap. Using a special tool, it can be removed to shorten the temple as desired. Afterward, the cap is screwed back on without leaving any visible imperfections.

SLEEK models feature a metal insert in the temple that allows for precise adjustment to perfectly fit the unique shape of the wearer’s head – just like acetate frames. Adjusting the temple into a curved shape or adding an "S-bend" is both simple and accurate.

If a serial model doesn’t fit perfectly, the frame can be adjusted to match the wearer’s anatomical measurements. All relevant parameters such as lens width, bridge width, temple length, inclination and the base curve can be individually modified.
