THE CUSTOM FRAME – TAILORED JUST FOR YOU
HOW TO CUSTOMIZE
Every frame makes a statement: KLENZE & BAUM offers customized 3D printed frames, where every detail - from fit to design - is perfectly tailored. If a serial model doesn’t fit perfectly, the fit can be adjusted with a CUSTOM frame to match the wearer's anatomical measurements. All relevant size parameters and colors can be individually modified. Pure color adjustments, without changes to size parameters, are even available at no extra cost.
STEP 1
CHOOSE FRAME
Choose a frame from one of our four collections. Almost all KLENZE & BAUM models can be customized to your specifications.
STEP2
ADJUST PARAMETERS
To ensure a perfect fit, all relevant parameters such as lens width, bridge width, temple length, inclination, and base curve can be customized.
STEP3
CHOOSE FRAME COLOR
For the frame color of your custom glasses, you can choose from a wide range of colors. Depending on the collection, different options are available. You can find out which colors are available for your model on the respective model page under the section 'Customize Colors.'
STEP 4
CHOOSE METAL COLOR
For our ASKET and SLEEK collections, you can choose from four elegant metal colors: SILVER, BLACK, GOLD and ROSE GOLD. For the VOYOU and SUMO hinges, we even offer an additional fifth option - our vibrant and colorful RAINBOW.
STEP 5
NOSE PADS YES OR NO
Decide for yourself whether you like nose pads or not. Almost all models can be made with titanium nose pads upon request. If desired, these can be fitted with a transparent silicone cover or a 3D printed clip-on in the frame's color.
STEP 6
PERSONALIZE LASER ENGRAVING
Give your glasses a special touch. Whether it’s a name, phone number, or personal motto, customize your text with up to 24 characters.
STEP 7
CHOOSE LENS COLOR
If you choose sunglasses, you have the option of a variety of stunning lens colors. Decide for yourself which tint will accompany you through the summer.
STEP 8
SWITCH TO SPORT TEMPLES
Thanks to the removable temple, VOYOU models can optionally be equipped with exchangeable sport temples. The flexible temple end wraps around the entire ear for optimal hold during physical activities. To determine the ideal length, the optician uses an adjustable measuring temple.
STEP 9
PREMODEL YES or NO
To verify the customized size parameters of the final custom frame, a white premodel - known as the RAW frame - can be ordered in advance upon request. This allows you to check the final fit of the glasses on your head perfectly.

SPORT TEMPLE
KLENZE & BAUM goes sports! Thanks to the innovative joint, you can swap the straight temples of the VOYOU models for a curved sports temple in a matter of seconds. This means that your everyday glasses can also be used for sporting activities. The sports temples are made individually for you to ensure optimal hold and comfort.

MEASURING TEMPLE
To determine the optimal fit of the sport temple, the optician uses adjustable measuring temples. Two sizes (Size S and L) are available for different ear sizes. Then, the temple length is measured precisely in millimeters for both the left and right ear.
